Many donors are able to give more by spreading their gift out over the school year through monthly or quarterly donations. Choose how often and how much you’d like to give by clicking Make a Gift.
In most cases, an outright gift of appreciated securities entitles the donor to an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities. In the case of securities that have been held for more than one year, the capital gains tax is waived. Contact Terence Joseph, Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement, to receive instructions for transferring stocks, bonds, and securities.
Planned gifts may consist of cash, securities, life insurance proceeds, real estate, and/or personal property. Contact Terence Joseph, Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement, to discuss your planned gift or bequest.
You may have the opportunity to double or even triple the value of your gift. Many companies offer matching gift programs to their employees as part of the benefits package. Contact your Human Resources Office to learn more about your company’s matching gift policy and to determine if you are eligible for a matching gift, or call our office for assistance.
Contact Terence Joseph, Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement, if you are interested in donating goods or services to Sheridan.
By making a charitable gift to Sheridan School, a 501(c)(3) organization, the donor understands that charitable donations are not refundable.
