All of our sports teams had an incredible fall season and we are so proud of all of our student athletes. Check out this post for a fall sports recap!
Our JV red soccer team had a great season! They improved as a team each week and also advanced to the semi-final round of the Capital Athletic Conference playoffs. Our varsity red team had an incredible season, offering strong performances and making it all the way to the championship game of the Capital Athletic Conference playoffs. In a close game, the Owls fell on the short side of a 2-1 final score. Regardless of the outcome, the hustle, effort and high level of play was on full display.
Our cross country teams had impressive seasons! We had many individuals throughout the course of the season finishing in the top 5 of multiple races. As teams, they also had much success, including our JV red and JV blue teams each bringing home 3rd place banners in the Capital Athletic Conference Championship Meet.
This year, our 5th and 6th graders participated in an intramural volleyball program. It was amazing to see the growth and community among all of our players. This season was also our inaugural varsity volleyball season at Sheridan! While participating as a non-conference sport, the Owls made great progress throughout the season. Multiple schools complimented our players for their ability to not just compete, but also win games given the fact that this was our first volleyball season.
Congrats to all of our student athletes!
And a huge shoutout to all of our wonderful coaches!
